I wanted the ability to plug my generator into my panel for power outages. Due to the style of panel I had, it needed to be replaced to achieve this. I called Green Star Electric for a quote, Jose came out the next day and went over my options. Provided me with a quote that day, it was very reasonable - middle of the three quotes I obtained but the only one to offer installatuon of a gas line quick connect as this is not something normally offered by an electrician. I would normally pay several hundred more dollars to a plumber to do, so turning this into a "one-stop-shop" was a great bonus. Came today (one week later) to install. Showed up 30 minutes early and got right to work. Replaced my panel, installed the generator interlock with plug, and installed the quick-connect to my gas line. After installation he walked me through using the interlock system to switch the panel to the generator, hooking up the gas to the generator, plugging the generator into the panel, and starting the starting the generator to ensure that it was all working.
